APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is seeing the following message in DDM
  for DAOS.  It shows up as a a disk failure.
  
  It is reported by HTTP Server.
  f:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\usersmail.nsf was unable to open or
  read the file
  E:\DAOS\0004\5daA3E6B057F2629BE457759C3F2974987C48DE46001213.nl
  o: invalid file handle.
  
  This message only seem to occur for users opening PDF
  files from web mail. The same user can open the
  same attachment from the client without generating DDM message.
  
  The problem is very random.
  

Local fix

• No confirmed fix at this time however a customer post suggest
  DDM is no longer reporting this message in their environment
  after upgrading to Domino 8.5.2.
