Error description

  • Administrator client should recognize that pre-8.5 notes clients
do not have and id in the id vault.

This SPR is not a duplicated of the existing SPR BBSZ89PDN8 and
    BBSZ886KT6

This SPR is a split from the existing SPR, to Indicate that
the admin client shouldn't create the request if it's not
necessary assigned to the admin client area for review.

    STEPS to reproduce issue:

    1. Install Server 703

Register test user based on mail file 703 (mail7.nft)

    2. Upgrade 703 server to 851Fp4

    3. Upgrade the Notes Admin Client to version 851

    4. Enable Id Vault on Server 851FP4

    5. Create an Id Vault organizational policy that applies to all
the test users registered at the beginning with 703 mail file
(and that do not have a id in id vault)

    5. With the Admin Client 851 Delete The Test users based on
mail file 703 (mail7.nft) in a batch request

    6. You can see that even the users do not have an id in the
vault, because the id vault organizational policy is applied to
these users, when deleting the user the option "What Should
happen to the ueser's ID in the ID Vault" is active. Select
"Delete the id from the vault" option. Therefore the only way
to be able to delete the user is by selecting this option or the
other option " Mark the id as inactive and keep the id in the
    Vault"

    7. In Admin4.nsf a request is generated for "Delete Vaulted
User" that fails with the error Server Error "entry not found in
    index"

    8. In the server console.log the request repeats every minute:

Example of pre - 8.5 User with no id vault policy applied:

Notice that option to the option to Delete the ID from the ID
    Vault is greyed out.

Example of Pre - 8.5 User with Organizational ID Vault Applied

Notice that in this occasion when the pre 8.5 user has an
organizational id vault policy applied, the option to Delete the
ID from the ID Vault is active.
