Error description
The Feedreader in Lotus Notes on Linux uses an hard-coded user agent string for authentication: "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)" It authenticates as "Microsoft Internet Explorer" ... even on Linux systems. This should be changed. Instead the user agent of the Notes embedded browser specific to the platform should be used. For Lotus Notes on Linux, this is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko Expeditor 6.2.2.20100629-2230 Gecko/20100629-2230" The string should be adapted to Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X platform accordingly.
