Error description

  • The concept of a redirect file was introduced in Domino v80. In
    simple terms a
redirect file is a file left on the server that has an extension
    of .nrf. The
goal of the redirect is to tell the client that a specific
    database has been
deleted from the data directory and that the client can remove
    all links
associated with the database from the workspace. This includes
    workspace
icons, bookmarks, and replicator page entries.

In a test scenario that: configures databases, creates an .rtf,
and deletes the DB's once the test is completed.

a redirect file will be left
behind on the file system, after the database is deleted. The
next time the tests are run there will be
several AdminP request that will report the following error when
    processing
their delete request "Admin Process: Unable to create Redirect
    file for
Database [some database.nsf]: File already exists. This is
    happening because
the redirect file is already on the system from the previous
    run.

    The test include:
    Test: AdminP request reporting error:

    1) Delete Person Test Delete Mailfile
    2) Move Mail File Test Delete Mailfile
    3) NonCluster Move Replica Test Delete Replica After Move

The cleanup routines for these tests need to be
    modified to include
    the removal of redirect files.
