LO50972: XPAGES: ONCLICK EVENT OF LINK CONTROL DOESN'T UPDATE SESSIONSCOPE

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible.

Error description

• User creates onClick event of Link control to update
  sessionScope. (e.g.
  sessionScope.SSCope1="aaaa")
  If multiple Link controls exist on Xpage and user click them one
  after the
  other, sometimes sessionScope isn't updated.
  
  When sessionScope isn't updated, HTTP request is sent from
  Browser to Server as
  GET request.
  If the HTTP request is sent as POST request, sessionScope is
  always updated
  correctly.
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Create 2 Xpages (one is Link.xsp, and the other is
  Back.xsp)
  2. Create 2 Link controls on Link.xsp
  3. Set OpenPage to open Back.xsp on the Link control
  4. Set onClick event on the Link control
      one - Server Side JavaScript: sessionScope.SSCope1="aaaa"
      the other - Server Side JavaScript:
  sessionScope.SSCope1="bbbb"
  5. Create Label to display sessionScope Value on Back.xsp
  (sessionScope.SSCope1)
  6. Access to Link.xsp via Web Browser
  7. Click the first link
  8. You can see "aaaa" is displayed as sessionScope value
  9. Back to Link.xsp
  10. Wait about 3 minutes
  11. Click the second link
  12. You can see "aaaa" is displayed as sessionScope value. It
  should be "bbbb".
  
  Step 10 is easy way to reproduce this problem.
  If you click these two links one after the other, this problem
  is also
  reproduced.
  
  The reproducible condition is HTTP request is sent as GET
  request when clicking
  link control.
