LO50497: JAPANESE IME BECOME DISABLED AFTER ENTERING TO TEXT FIELD VIA DI ALOG BOX

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Please select data from a dialog after enabling IME and
  inputting Japanese data into the
  text field.
  IME disable if a cursor moves to the text field via a dialog
  box.
  This issue occur when using a Notes Standard client on Windows
  VISTA.
  
  <Steps to reproduced>
  1. Prepare form with the two text field and two dialog box.
  2. Create a document.
  3. Enable IME mode.
  4. Input a data to text field.
  5. Move to a dialog box and select data.
  6. Move to an other dialog box again and select data.
  7. Move to a text field.  Disabled IME mode.
  

Local fix

• Use IMESetMode(4) in an Entering event of a field.
