Error description
Signature is not added automatically to new mail and rich text signature on mail database cannot be modified. You cannot had a new character in the rich text signature - beep returned but no character added. If you try to paste content into the rich text field you have the error message "invalid RTF data on the clipboard". This message is returned for any kind of content in the clipboard : text only, HTML, doclinks, etc... in fact anything. The same content can be pasted with no error in a new mail body. There is no known steps to reproduce this corruption. Database to reproduce the error is in attachment SPR db.
Local fix
1 - in the rich text field append a new line with the enter key, save the signature, reopen the signature, now you can enter the wanted information in the rich text field 2 - change the signature to use plain text field, save the signature, reopen the signature, now you can enter the wanted information in the rich text field 3 - change the signature to use a HTML or image file, save the signature, reopen the signature, now you can enter the wanted information in the rich text field
