LO49287: "CHOOSE USER ID" DIALOG IS DISPLAYED SEVERAL TIMES AT RECEIVING UPDATED CERTIFICATION

Error description

  • "Choose User ID to Switch To" dialog is displayed several times
    even if
    clicking [Open] or [Cancel] button when receiving updated
    certification. This
    problem is reproduced when instant messaging SSO is enabled and
    switch User ID
    by switching Location document.
    
    Two Users use the machine.(e.g. "Hanako Yamada" and "Taro
    Yamada")
    They log in to Notes by switching to own Location document that
    is specified
    own User ID file.
    Administrator updates "Taro Yamada"'s expiration date of User ID
    by
    recertifying. To receive the updated certification "Taro Yamada"
    log in to
    Notes Client by switching Location document from "Hanako
    Yamada"'s doc, "Choose
    User ID to Switch To" dialog is displayed several times.
    
    This problem is reproduced only when receiving the updated
    certification at
    first.
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    ---------------
    [User Preferences] - [Instant Messaging] - [General]
    - set "Log onto instant messaging using single sign-on (SSO)"
    
    Create two Location Documents("Hanako Yamada" and "Taro
    Yamada")
    - [Instant Messaging] tab
       Connect: "At Notes logon"
    - [Advanced] - [Basics] tab
       User ID to switch to: specify the user's ID file
    ---------------
    
    Admin
    1. Launch Administrator Client
    2. Open [Configuration] tab
    3. Click [Tools] - [Certification] - [Certify]
    4. Choose a certifier
    5. Enter password
    6. Select user's ID file
    7. Update "Expiration date" and Click [Certify]
    8. Execute "tell adminp process all" command on server console
    
    Hanako Yamada
    9. Launch Notes Client with "Hanako Yamada"'s Location doc)
    
    Taro Yamada
    10. Switch Location document to "Taro Yamada"'s doc
    11. Enter password
    12. "The hierarchical certificates in your ID file have been
    updated with new
    expiration dates"
    
    "Choose User ID to Switch To" dialog is displayed several
    times.

  • Change "log on to instant messaging" to "Manually"

    At this point, there are no plans to fix this issue in 8.0.x
     fix pack.  If issue continues in 8.5x, it may be evaluated for
