LO48841: TRANSPARENT GIF IMAGES USED FOR SIGNATURE HAVE BLACK BOX AROUND THEM

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • 1. Save signature to machine
    2. Go to More->Preferences->Signature
    3. Click on arrow and choose Graphics...
    4. Click the graphics button and select signature gif file
    
    You will notice that there is a black box to the right and below
    the image.  If
    you look at the image in Microsoft Photo Editor, right click on
    the picture and
    select properties.  You will notice that the image is
    transparent which is
    causing the problem.

  • Create a new signature that is not transparent
