LO48809: "REMOVE DOCUMENTS NOT MODIFIED IN THE LAST X DAYS" SETTING CANNO T PURGE DOCS IF PURGE DATE IS EXTENDED

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• "Remove documents not modified in the last x days" setting
  cannot purge
  documents if purge date is extended.
  For this problem, the database cannot purge anymore. The
  database size is
  continue to increase.
  
  Steps:
  1. Open database property and click [Replication Settings]
  button
  2. Click [Space Savers] tab
  3. Enable "Remove documents not modified in the last x days"
  option and set
  date would be going BACKWARDS. (eg. 120 days)
  4. Click [OK] and close Replication Settings.
  
  The purge doesn't occur even if it performs updall and
  compact.
  

Local fix

• Disable "Remove documents not modified in the last x days"
  option and Enable
  the option again.
