LO48272: WEBSERIVCE CONSUMER BREAKS THE CONNECTION AFTER 60 SECONDS

Error description

• A Web Service Agent is connecting to an external server to
  get data. If there is
  no new data the consumer agent is run properly, if there is a
  big amount of
  data the Consumer agent gets a connection
  time-out:
  
  
  "
  Error while reading data from server, Network operation did not
  complete in a
  reasonable amount of time; please retry"
  
  The error happens because by default Domino has a time-out of 60
  seconds before
  closing the communication with the data provider. If the Data
  provider provides
  an amount of data that takes more then 60 second to be
  transmitted, then the
  error is returned.
  
  No parameter to set the Web Service time out worked in the
  Domino server
  document
  

Local fix

• The only way to set the time out is thru:
  
    Call Service.Initialize ( ...
  
    Call Service.setTimeout(240000)
  
  
  setTimeout permits to set the time-out value to the Domino
  server.
