Error description

• Customer has seen auto save databases in their environment up to
  500 MB (1/2
  GB) in size. These databases are empty or have a could have a
  few files. A lot
  of white space gets generated since Notes is creating/deleting
  documents
  constantly from this database. Hence, customer is requesting the
  following:
  Customer's feedback/request:
  .....IBM has a great tool....called Autosave.......where a Notes
  db is created
  and documents are saved at a specified interval in this db until
  they are sent
  or otherwise saved (draft).   The issue is IBM does not perform
  cleanup on this
  db (compact) to remove white space from saving a document and
  deleting it and a
  frequent bases there for the foot print is ~ 1/2 gig in size for
  a db that
  ultimately contains zero documents.  [customer] is asking IBM to
  look into this
  and provide a solution to keep the autosave db at a minimal size
  at some
  interval.
