Error description
This problem is reproduced only if your client computer does not have color printer driver. When copying and pasting from Microsoft Excel to Lotus Notes, The color of cells becomes black. This problem does not occur in former releases(Notes R5.x or Notes 6.x) In former releases ,The color of cells is lost. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Open Lotus Notes Client - create a new memo 2) Open Microsoft Excel 3) In Microsoft Excel type in TEST in a cell. Highlight that cell and go to Format -> Cells -> Pattern -> Change the color to any other color. Hit OK 4) Highlight the cell in Excel - go to Edit -> Copy 5) Go to the new memo in Lotus Notes and paste to body field by [paste special-> Rich text]. You will notice the cell color becomes black in the Notes Client. test cases are shown below.
