I do not crash if I use a Eudora or Thunderbird client. What I found through troubleshooting this call, If I open the mail file via HTTP using an Internet Explorer client, I see 5 different calendar alarms. If I click on one of the Alarms in the screen print above, I can no longer reproduce the crash, even if I restore the mail from a backup version. I do not see the calendar entries if I open the mail file up using Mozilla Firefox.
Local fix
The only work around that I know of have the mail user retrieve messages with anything other than a Outlook Express client or open the mail file using IE and click on the calender alarm.
Problem summary
The problem will be fixed in the next release of the product.
Problem conclusion
Temporary fix
