LO44390: WHEN USERS LAUNCH LOTUS NOTES, THEY RECEIVE RTVSCAN ERRORS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When OS starts and you double click on the Notes icon in the
  "quick launch" bar you will see a splash screen , receive the
  error and the client will launch
  
  Lotus Notes 8.0.2
  Windows XP SP2
  Symantec 11.x.x
  
  The problem is still reproducible in the
  WCT8.0.3_20090413.1535np build.
  The Error dialog still showed up while double click the Notes
  icon in the "quick launch" when OS starts, the picture is as
  below:
  
  Note: And after dismiss the error dialog, the Notes Splash
  Screen could not
  dismiss by itself. I can only kill the notes process to dismiss
  it.
  

Local fix

• Single click on Notes icon in "Quick Launch" bar.
