Error description

  • Problem description
    This issue is related to the SPR # SIWA76L835.
     Customer is reporting an issue with the Auto Refresh feature in
    Notes 8.5.
    When you set up My Work as the home page and have also the mail
    file opened,
    newly arrived mail is only auto refreshed in the mail view of
    the
     My Work home page, and not also in the mail box.
    
    Environment
    Windows XP
    Notes 8.5 FP1
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    
    
    
    1. Open Lotus Notes, work on the server, set the setting check
    for new mail
    to 1 minutes (mail preferences)
    
    
    2. Open the mail database
    
    3. Open the home page, configure the MyWork page as homepage
    
    
    
    
    4. Send an e-mail from another user to this user
    
    5. The MyWork page needs to be open  and its tab
    active.
    6. You see that the new e-mail arrives in the inbox in the
    MyWork page (e.g.
    Test 4)
    
    7. Switch to the inbox in the mail database
    
    8. The new e-mail (Test 4) is not visible.
    

Local fix

  • Refresh manually (F9) the inbox
