APAR status

  • Closed as user error.

Error description

  • Open the message contained in the attached database "Test.nsf".
    The image contained in the message is a .png image. The .png
    image will display as an attachment. The attachment is able to
    be opened, but it does not show embedded in the body of the
    message, unless the embedded browser is turned off. (Disable
    embedded browser for MIME mail in the Additional Options box in
    File - Preferences). If the message is deleted, the .png image
    can be viewed from the trash correctly, regardless of this
    setting. Per SPR RCE4XGULQ, the Notes 8.5 client is able to open
    .png images in the Notes 8.5 client if the 8.5 standard mail
    template is used.
