Error description
Detailed Description/Steps to Reproduce: Problem description This SPR is related to the SPR # RGAU7SHCXZ Assume ServerA and ServerB are clustered. ServerA is the primary home mail server for all users. ServerB is the failover server. There is a third server, which is the Administration server where the users and server are registered. A CONFIGFILE has been added to "Shared" notes.ini, and points to a notes.cfg file on the LAN Home Drive. ( "Shared" notes.ini = C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ApplicationData\Lotus\Notes\Data\Notes.ini as Standard installation) An Roaming user wants to set up the Notes Client 8.5, multi-user installation. When the mail server, ServerA, in the cluster is down, during the setup of the client, a command window is displayed with the message "Unable to replicate localfeedcontent.nsf. Remote system no longer responding." After a few seconds, this message disappears and the setup is continuing with no other messages. Customer is wondering why this message is displayed as the failover in the cluster should work and no need for this messge. Customer would like this issue to be addressed in the next release. Environment Tested with Notes 8.5 Domino 7.0.3 Windows XP Steps to reproduce 1. Install and set up the Admin Server (e.g. Romeo2/LCS) and two additional servers (ServerA/LCS and ServerB/LCS). AdminSvr must not be member of mail cluster. 2. Create a cluster, named TestCluster. 3. Register a Roaming User (Roaming User3) Title: How can users be set up to roam in a Domino Server Cluster? Doc #: 1095999 URL: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=899&uid=swg21095999 4. Create in NotePad the notes.cfg file Domino.Port=TCPIP Domino.Server=1 AdditionalServices=0 AdditionalServices.NetworkDial=0 Replication.Threshold=1 Replication.Schedule=1 IM.Server= IM.Port=1533 IM.ConnectWhen=0 IM.Protocol=0 Username=User KeyFilename=C:\ruser3.ID Domino.Name=CN=ServerB/O=LCS Domino.Address=<IP address of the ServerB in the cluster> 5. Put the files, ruser3.id and notes.cfg on the C drive of the Notes Client 6. With the administrator credentials install Notes 8.5 multiuser. Edit the shared notes.ini file [Notes] KitType=1 SharedDataDirectory=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data\Shared InstallType=6 InstallMode=1 CONFIGFILE=C:\notes.cfg BookmarkDesignReplaced=1 IM_Disabled=1 7. Register a new Windows User, Roaming User3, with restricted privileges. 8. Shut down the ServerA/LCS. Servers Romeo2/LCS (the admin server) and ServerB/LCS (failover server) are running. 9. Log in Windows with Roaming User3 credentials and try to set up the client.During the Client setup, a command window is displayed with the following message. "Unable to replicate localfeedcontent.nsf. Remote system no longer responding." After a few seconds, the message disappears and the set-up is continuing. with no other errors (messages).
