Error description

• Lotus Spreadsheets, part of Notes 8.x and 8.5.x, is there an
  add-on or tool to transfer
  data to/from an iSeries server similar to the Data Transfer add-
  on used in MS
  Excel?
  
  Customer is currently using MS Office 2000 and are planning on a
  upgrades to
  Notes 8.0.x or 8.5.x with possibly the productivity tools
  (Documents,Spreadsheets,
  and Presentations) or MS Office 2007 to replace their current MS
  Office suite.
  
  They also have an iSeries server that runs their ERP system.
  Users have  IBM
  Client Access for Windows installed on there PCs to do a 5250
  emulation to
  the iSeries and they download data to MS Excel spreadsheets by
  use of an
  MS Excel add-on called the iSeries Data Access Transfer that was
  included in
   the Client Access installation.
  
  
  Customer's  question, is there an add-on, or tool from IBM that
  can allow them
  to transfer data to and from the iSeries using the Lotus Notes
  8.0.x or 8.5.x  spreadsheet
  program similar to the add on tool that is included with the
  
  IBM Client Access
  software?
  
  
  
  
  Customer expect that IBM should have some sort of
  interoperability between our
  own software applications.
  
  Symphony accepts both *.ODS and *.XLS file-extentions for
  Spreadsheets.
