LO38891: ENHANCEMENT REQUEST: AN OPTION TO FLASH CONTINUOUSLY THE TASKBAR SAMETIME BUTTON

Error description

• This Customer  is rolling out a Notes 8 pilot. A significant
  number  of users have complained that when they receive a new
  Sametime
   message, the Taskbar button does not flash constantly until
  they bring the ST window to the top. This was the way that IM
  
   in Notes R6.5 worked, and the complaints have been that with
  Notes R8, users have missed ST messages at the moment they
  
   arrive because they dont see the Button flashing, even though
  in the default Windows colour scheme the Button is highlighted
  
   bright orange!
  

Local fix

• There isn't any option in the preferences to set the message
  window
  taskbar button to flash continuously. I can open an enhancement
  request
  for this so development is aware of your users request and they
  might
  add another notification settings option in future releases
