Error description
The AutoSave feature will save duplicate copies of the same message when stationery is used. The AutoSave feature will delete documents if the document is saved, deleted, or sent. Because duplicate copies of the same message is saved, only the recent message is removed when the document is saved, deleted or sent. Steps to reproduce: Enable AutoSave Go to File --> Preferences --> User Preferences Enable the "AutoSave every" option. Enter "1" to save document every one minute Restart Lotus Notes for changes to take effect. Create a stationery document in mail file Go to Tools --> Stationery Next, click on the New button and choose "stationery - Memo" Save and close Memo. Create a new memo using Stationery document created in Step#2. Add text to the body (or any modification) Wait for the AutoSave feature to save the document. Make an additional modification. Wait for the AutoSave feature to save the document. RESULT: Each time there's an update to the document, the AutoSave feature will create a new document. Each document in the AutoSave .NSF database will have different NoteIDs. Also, each document will have the modification from the last update. First document stored in AutoSave Database: Second document, which is the same document as the first, stored in AutoSave database. Once the document is sent, deleted, or saved, only the most recent or last document will be removed from the AutoSave .NSF database. Therefore, when the user restarts Lotus Notes, they will get the Auto Save pop up to Restore or Delete the documents which are duplicates of the same message.
