  • This bug results in a high number of sent events which results
in online_throttling state

Problem summary


    

  • If an api has a security name as empty string, the gateway is
unable to process it and report so to apic.
With the enhanced feedback feature this is showing the event as
failed. Any events sent after the failed one should show failed
as per design, but they show sent causing throttling and backing
up events that should be sent to the gateway.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix marks all the subsequent events as failed and not
causing backup. It is fixed in 10.0.8.1.
However when such failed events are reported the APIs should be
fixed so that the gateway can properly process them.
