APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When trying to execute an analytics query utilizing a
    custom_data property
    to filter information in the analytics discover tab, the error
    message "Unexpected Application Error!"
    and "TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading
    'type')" shows up.
    
    As a result, it is not possible to look up the transactions
    made using custom data attributes.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This was a bug in the analytics UI code handling the custom_data
    field (and possibly request and response headers too) which has
    now been resolved.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix targeted at APIC 10.0.8.1
