LI83186: PUBLISHING ASYNC API IN NETWORK RESTRICTED ENVIRONMENTS CAN FAIL

APAR status

Error description

• When attempting to publish an Async API in a network restricted
  (air gapped) environment the request may fail when trying to
  validate the Async API.
  As part of the publish action the Async API is attempted to be
  validated against http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema.
  If network access is restricted in the environment the call to
  obtain the schema will time out.

Problem summary

• When validating an Asyc API as part of the publish action if
  network connectivity cannot be established to
  http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema the request will time out
  and publishing of the Async API will fail.
  

Problem conclusion

• Issue is fixed by keeping a local copy of the schema within the
  validation module to avoid having to make an external call to
  retrieve it.
  
  Fix is targeted for release in 10.0.8.0, 10.0.5.8
