APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Identified performance issue when selecting a catalog or space
in API Designer 10.0.5.3+Fix when publishing a product. This
requires more time as more spaces or catalogs are configured in
the selected organization.

Local fix

  • Use API Manager as a workaround. API Manager doesn't have this
performance issue to load large amount of Catalog/space.

Problem summary

  • API Designer takes long time to load large number of catalogs &
spaces in catalogs + spaces list page, during stage and publish
steps of Products and APIs.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is targeted for inclusion in IBM API Connect v10.0.5.6
and v10.0.8
