LI83093: PORTAL SITES FETCHING JS FILES FROM THE INTERNET

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• It has been reported to us by our client that their sites are
  trying to load some fontawesome javascript files from the
  internet. The client has observed that their portal site is
  trying to load all.js and v4-shims.js files from
  use.fontawsome.com and because their environment is not
  connected to the internet fetching those files fails, but takes
  some time to timeout and causes the sites to take a long time to
  load.
  
  
  For the sake of clients whose environments are not connected
  to the Internet, We should deliver our portal code with the full
  package, so that there is no need to load anything out from the
  Internet.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The Drupal Module the Developer Portal uses would try and reach
  of to a public address to try and download some library files.
  

Problem conclusion

• The library files have now been pre installed so the modules no
  longer tries to reach out. Fixed in 10.0.5.6
