LI83015: CUSTOMIZE HTML EMAIL NOTIFICATION TEMPLATES STRIPPING VALUE OF HREF LINK ON SAVE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When updating an email notification template in API Connect
  Cloud Manager UI to use an HTML link in the HTML content of the
  email such as:
  Check Status
  after save, the email template automatically changes to:
  <a href>Check Status</a>
  and the html email that is sent does not contain the link.
  
  The same happens for {{{cancelLink}}} template variable, but
  {{{activationLink}}} works OK.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• In HTML email templates, hrefs for 'link' and 'cancelLink' do
  not work.
  When saving the email template,
  Check Status is changed to <a href>Check Status</a>
  and
  <a href="{{{cancelLink}}}">Cancel Request</a> is changed to <a
  href>Cancel Request</a>
  and the HTML email sent does not contain the link.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix is targeted for release 10.0.5.5 (LTS) and 10.0.7
