APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer has LDAP configuration done using script, but when they
    changed the username of LDAP from CMC it switched
    external_group_mapping_enabled flag to false.
    
    Command: apic user-registries:get ldap-aps --server
    manager.prod-apic.apsc.com --org admin --output -
    

Local fix

  • Customer can update the value to "true" again using REST or CLI
    and expect login to work after change.
    

Problem summary

  • When modifying LDAP related value, the
    external_group_mapping_enabled value becomes false as a default.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This is fixed in 10.0.1.11.
