APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • While using V5C GW, one of the GW servers from the cluster
doesn't clean up the webapi and webapi-internal cache. As a
result, that specific GW server always returns the older
response for the API call, while others returns the updates
    response.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • There was a timing window identified after publish but before
the configuration is written where a request can come in and get
a response from the old api.

Problem conclusion

  • We ensured that the webapi and webapi-internal cache gets
cleared at the right time so that it picks up the updates.
