Error description

  • Users downloading the WSDL for a SOAP API may observe that the
Portal is returning a WSDL with ISO-8859 or other encoding,
    which may
result in problems with appliactions sensitive to the character
    encoding.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When the API is published to the Portal, the published WSDL file
may have a different encoding then the original
WSDL. This could cause problems when the WSDL is read by
    third-party tools.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is fixed in the latest version of API Connect. The
WSDL that is published in the Portal will have the same encoding
as the original WSDL. This fix will be delivered in 10.0.1.7
    and the next 10.0.4.0 ifix.
