Error description
A switch policy in API Connect v5/v5c currently uses a separate DataPower rule for every condition in the switch. APIs with large switch policies may fail with either an error indicating that the Loop/conditional action recursive depth too deep or with the maximum call depth has been exceeded.
Local fix
Problem summary
Each switch policy condition was being evaluated by an individual DataPower rule which would cause errors when the DataPower maximum call or loop counts were exceeded. All conditions within the switch policy will now be evaluated in one DataPower rule which greatly reduces the number of called rules required for large switch policies.
Problem conclusion
A fix will be provided in the API Connect releases 10.5.0.1 and 10.0.1.7.
