APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For APIs utilizing the v5 or v5 compatible gateways, when
there is a Proxy policy in the  API Assembly and an exception
is thrown from a policy before the Proxy policy, the policies
after the Proxy policy are executed before the catch logic is
triggered. When an error is thrown the catch should be triggered
immediately.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The flow logic was executing the post proxy policies prior to
the execution of the catch logic.  The code has been corrected
to flow to the catch logic.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
provided in the API Connect releases 10.5.0.1, 10.0.1.7,
2018.4.1.20, and 5.0.8.14.</span>
