Error description

  • An XML document is built from the API to emulate v5 using among
other things the API's properties.  The XML document was not
properly escaping special XML characters which would cause the
document to be malformed.

Problem summary


    

  • The v5 emulation framework would build an XML document to mimic
version 5 that contained the API's policy properties.  If a
property value had an XML special character the built XML would
be malformed and would fail to parse.  These characters are now
escaped, for example an & will be & which will make the XML well
formed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
provided in the API Connect releases 10.5.0.0 and
10.0.1.7.</span>
