APAR status

Error description

  • Marshaling null API Gateway context variables getting an
    exception setting v5e context variables to a null value.
    Instead, the corresponding v5e context variable should be
    deleted.  The log may show:
    The given argument 'value' for method 'setVariable' cannot be
    undefined or is null
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The version 5 emulation framework would throw an exception if a
    version 10 context variable had a null value.
    

Problem conclusion

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
    provided in the API Connect releases 10.5.0.0 and
    10.0.1.7.</span>
