LI82398: PASSWORD RESET FAILS FOR PORTAL SITES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• While trying to reset a password for an existing Portal user,
  after submitting the new password the portal site throws the
  following error : The website encountered an unexpected error.
  Please try again later.
  
  In the portal-www web container logs, it will also show the
  following error messages :

Problem summary

• An error is shown when developer portal users attempt to reset
  their password using the "forgot password" flow.
  This was due to an incompatibility with Drupal 9 in the password
  policy module.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix targeted at 10.0.1.5, 10.0.4 and 2018.4.1.18.
