APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • when trying any action with a product, customer is getting 403:
forbidden error

Local fix

  • The permissions for Product-drafts under any role has no
default permissions, once checked Edit and View permissions,
customer could work with products again

Problem summary

  • After upgrade to 2018.4.1.12, users who previously had view/edit
permissions on api and product drafts, did not have permissions
on product drafts anymore and hence saw 403's for product
related operations.

Problem conclusion

  • After upgrade to <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
255)">2018.4.1.13 ifix3.0 all users who have out of the box
roles which have view/edit permissions on drafts, will see them
being valid for both products and APIs. Users with custom roles
will not see any changes. </span>
