APAR status

Error description

  • With writable LDAP is enabled (checking the "User Managed"
    option of the LDAP user registry), API Connect should not try
    to update the user in the LDAP server during login when the
    user already exists if there was no changes to the user
    information.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Users may experience login issues when using writable LDAP.
    
    The issue is caused by inadvertent attempt to update users even
    when no user information is changed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product is updated in 2018.4.1.15 to address the issue.
