APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In API Manager or Designer UI, when you use $ref in API
parameters, the source view shows $ref but in the design view
it is a blank entry.

Problem summary


    

  • API Connect users who have path parameters with reference to a
global parameter as their value in source view see an empty
parameter definition in the Design view of the edit path page.
Moreover, the original parameter value that is described with a
$ref key is overwritten by a verbose definition when saving the
api from the edit api path page.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The issue is fixed in API Connect versions 2018.4.1.16 and
10.0.2.0, and will be including in upcoming 10.0.1.x fixpack.
