Error description

  • Installing version apic-v5.0.8.8-iFix2: 5.1.21 or @latest of
the toolkit gives following error both via npm and from apim
server

Local fix

  • tarball install is working:

npm install -g
apiconnect-5.1.21.tgz--unsafe-perm

Problem summary

  • The user cannot `npm install` from npmjs org. (there was a
workaround by using tarball file)

Problem conclusion

  • Now it should work fine with `npm i -g apiconnect` command in
npmjs org.
