LI81502: A MEMBER WITH "VIEWER" ROLE IS NOT ABLE TO SEE APPLICATION SUBSCRIPTIONS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A Member of a Provider Organization that have been assigned the
  default role "Viewer" can not view the subscriptions of an
  Application in the Manager GUI.
  When going to Catalog >> Applications >> Expand drop down three
  dot vertical menu of App >> Only Edit and Credentials is
  visible.
  Even though the Viewer role have View permission for
  everything, including Subscriptions, the option is not
  presented.
  Steps to reproduce:
  1- Invite a new member to your provider Organization
  2- Set the role for the member to be the built-in viewer role.
  3- Once the user is activated/signed p, use the user
  credentials to login to the management provider organization
  you have been invited to.
  4- Navigate to a catalog where products, applications and
  subscriptions have been created
  5- Go to the applications page.
  6- Select one application and go to the '...' option at the
  extreme right of the application row.

Problem summary

• Users with "Viewer" role in APIM UI <span
  style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">cannot see the 'View
  Subscriptions' option on the overflow menu for applications in
  catalogs.</span>
  

Problem conclusion

• <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">The fix is
  targeted for inclusion in IBM API Connect 2018.4.1.13.</span>
