LI81391: MAP POLICY WITH XML INPUT AND A SET ACTION WITH A FOREACH WHERE THE FOREACH ELEMENT IS NOT REPEATING WILL FAIL TO MAP

Error description

• The XML to JSON conversion where an XML element does not have a
  repeating element is treated as a JSON object whereas if the
  element is repeating that will be treated as a JSON array. The
  foreach within a set action assumes the data for the foreach
  will be an array, thus mapping of a non repeating XML element
  in these cases would fail.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  policy's conversion of XML to JSON would create a non-array
  property when only one XML element was present which caused the
  iteration which was expecting an array to fail.</span>
  

Problem conclusion

• <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
  delivered in the API Connect 5.0.8.8 GA </span><span
  style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">and 2018.4.1.11 GA
  releases.</span>
