APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The "request.parameters" variable for FormData parameter
doesn't work properly after upgrade to 2018.4.1.9.

In earlier version, customer can get the parameter
from x-www-form-urlencoded content-type by using the
"request.parameters.parametername" variable. However after
upgrade to 2018.4.1.9 the variable return "null".

Problem summary

  • When using the apim.getvariable() function in GatewayScript to
get the value of formdata parameter, it will return null.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is targeted for API Connect v2018.4.1.10
