Error description

  • When creating a subscription, the number of Product plans
    available for subscription may appear inaccurate. You would
    expect to see all the product plan that are still subscribable
    if they are less or equal than the default filter 10. Instead,
    you have to increase/change the 'item per page' display filter
    from 10 to 25 (for example) to view them all even if the list is
    less than 10.
    
    Steps to reproduce
    <ol><li>Create and publish 10 or more product (15 are enough to
    reproduce easily)</li><li>Create an application</li><li>Try to
    create a subscription:   Actual Result: There are 10 product
    plans displayed in the subscription creation page as expected
    </li><li>Increase the 'item per page' filter from 10 to 25.
    Actual Result: There are 15 products displayed in the
    subscription creation page as expected</li><li>Retire some of
    your published products in a random order (for example the first
    one published , the 5th and the 9th)    </li><li>Create a
    subscription:  Actual Result: There are less than 10 product
    plans displayed in the subscription creation page Expected
    Result: There are 10 product plans displayed in the
    subscription creation page since 12 products are still published
    and subscribable </li><li>Increase the 'item per page' filter
    from 10 to 25. Actual Result: There are less than 12 product
    plans displayed in the subscription creation page as expected

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When creating a subscription, the number of Product plans
    available for subscription may appear inaccurate. You would
    expect to see all the product plan that are still subscribable
    if they are less or equal than the default filter 10. Instead,
    you have to increase/change the 'item per page' display filter
    from 10 to 25 (for example) to view them all even if the list is
    less than 10.
    
    These steps have been seen to demonstrate the issue:
    -Create and publish 10 or more product
    -Create an application
    -Try to create a subscription:   Actual Result: There are 10
    product plans displayed in the subscription creation page as
    expected
    -Increase the 'item per page' filter from 10 to 25.   Actual
    Result: There are 15 products displayed in the subscription
    creation page as expected
    -Retire some of your published products in a random order (for

Problem conclusion

  • The issue has been addressed in API Connect 2018.4.1.12.
