Error description

  • Portal disallows using core keyword in its url for the
associated catalog and throws a 500 error when trying to create
such site. However, if customers change an existing portal site
url to include core keyword, we still show success to them.
They expect to see an error thrown for using core.
    Here are the steps:
    1. Create a catalog called CORE (the name does not matter but
it is for simplicity that we use CORE)
    2. Go to the catalog settings, portal section and create the
portal site for the catalog by select ... by default it will
    be "https://<portal-service-endpoint>/<orgname>/core"
    Result:
This will fail/ be rejected with the message like:
    ****
    A Server Error occurred
An error occurred communicating with the portal service at
    "https://<portal-service-endpoint>" (status: 500, response:
    '"Invalid portal_url:
    "https://<portal-service-endpoint>/<orgname>/core" - URL cannot
    end in /core\n"').
    ***
This is the expected behavior since FixPack7
3- Change the URL to be
    "https://<portal-endping>/<orgname>/core-sys" and create the
    site
    Result
The site is created successfully and it works fine
    4. Now go back to the portal catalog settings and edit the URL
    to change it from
    "https://<portal-endping>/<orgname>/core-sys" into
    "https://<portal-endping>/<orgname>/core"
    Result:
No message is given to the user that this is now allowed.
    Expected:
Similar message as the one received in step 2
