Error description

  • Portal K8S goes down after serveral days (5-7) running with
    no/little load and Portal Web doesn't load in Browser.
    Then, after login via SSH in Portal node we are getting "Unable
    to connect to the server: EOF" when running "kubectl get
    pods").
    

Local fix

  • rebooting the node
    

Problem summary

  • User is unable to access Portal and/or Management services and
    kubectl returns an EOF error.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is targeted for inclusion in IBM API Management fixpack
    2018.4.1.0.
