APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The xsd setting, attributeFormDefault="qualified", indicates
    that child attributes should be emitted with the namespaces of
    the defining schema.
    (The default attributeFormDefault="unqualified", indicates that
    child attributes should be emitted as unqualified (no
    namespace)).
    
    The attributeFormDefault="qualified" setting was being ignored
    by the parser.  The parser and API Connect now respect and emit
    the correct xml.
    
    Note that attributeFormDefault="qualified" is unusual.  Most
    WSDL/XSD best practice documents do not recommend this setting.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • During the API from SOAP task or "apic create" task, the
    WSDL/XSD provided by the user is parsed.
    
    The xsd setting, attributeFormDefault="qualified", indicates
