  • When calling an PUT or POST Operation, the call fails with empty
body or empty JSON body "{}" is provided

Problem summary


    

  • When using HTTP PUT and HTTP POST Assembly steps without a
payload message, the API Gateway will fail the API request
immediately. This is not a typical use of the PUT and POST
verbs, however it is not prohibited by the HTTP protocol.
This API Management code has been updated to allow a PUT or a
POST in an assembly to have no body.
This change does not affect the Web Service Invoke behavior,
which will continue to require a SOAP body when sending an HTTP
POST.
