LI74515: DB2DART /DEMP WILL FAIL WHEN EXCESSIVE EXTENTS IN TABLESPACE

Error description

  • If a tablespace has many extents, like the case of a 2TB
database with extent size of 2 (pagesize 16K),  db2dart /demp
can give this output

DAT extent anchor: 61256
Traversing extent map for object type: 0

EMP pool page: 61256, # entries: 22

The problem is that MAX_TOUCH in engn/dart/drtpool.C is defined
too small
