Local fix
Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Commerce users. We do expect that many customers will have resolved this previously by updating their JSPs. PROBLEM ABSTRACT: In WebSphere Commerce Accelerator JSPs there are some hardcoded date options that will be invalid after several years. BUSINESS IMPACT: It will impact two scenarios: 1. Place an order or edit an order in Accelerator, in the payment method page. When you select some payment method (like Visa credit card), the corresponding payment method information page will display to let CSR input shopper's payment information (card number, valid date etc.) 2. Create a RMA (return) or edit a RMA in accelerator, similar to scenario1, but this time it is in the refund method page. RECOMMENDATION: The fix LI73841 will replace the JSPs in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator tool. If you have not cutomized any of the JSPs then we recommend simply applying the LI73841. If you have customized these JSPs then the customizations will be overwritten if you install LI73841. You can take one of the following two approaches - simply update the dates in the listed JSPs and redeploy them. Do no apply LI73841. - apply LI73841. Your customizations will need to be reimplemented and then the udpated JSPs redeployed.
Problem conclusion
The issue can be resolved either by customizing and redeploying the JSPs, or by applying LI73841.
