APAR status

Error description

  • When NIC that hosts the 2nd column value for db2nodes.cfg is
    unplugged, it causes the Offline method to fire which will hang
    in db2stop. The hang will resolve only after the Offline method
    times out. This causes the resource to unnecesarily go into
    Failed Offline state. This issue occurs only on GPFS file system
    where instance home directory is mounted.
